Aricha is about 8 kilometers from the center of Yirgacheffe Town.
The soils in this region are red-brown clay soil, about 1.5 meters deep.

This coffee is the initiative of Moses Venapo, an entrepreneurial producer in the Eastern Highlands, who wanted to offer local smallholders better access to higher market prices as well as a higher traceability option.

Oscar and Francisca Chacón are third-generation coffee producers, with coffee in their hearts and souls. The couple is committed to quality and innovation, and were among the very first farmers in Costa Rica to produce Honey and Natural processed specialty coffee.
