Colombia Planadas Organic coffee is grown in the Planadas, Tolima region of Colombia. Produced by members of the ASOPEP Cooperative, comprising of 175 families who contribute their coffee cherries for processing and packing. The coffee is grown in volcanic ash and clay loam soils, using organic methods. ASOPEP is an association in Colombia that has supported coffee farmers' to work towards quality coffee that is certified organic, incentivising them to use organic practices. As a result, these producers have managed to certify their raw coffee beans as organic.
Bolivia Finca Aurora Machaca was established in 2011 by Jhony Machaca, it is located in the Caranavi region of La Paz, Bolivia. The farm encompasses 9 hectares, with 3.5 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation. The harvest period spans from June to September, during which cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness. Jhony's commitment to quality and sustainable farming practices has positioned Finca Aurora Machaca as a notable producer in Bolivia's specialty coffee scene. The coffees from this farm are celebrated for their clean and aromatic profiles. This dedication not only elevates the farm's offerings but also contributes to the broader recognition of Bolivian coffees in the international market.
